getEngineInfo()

Report which engine build is loaded — the package version plus the backend an engine: 'auto' call resolves to (xl3#103).

Async because the backend answer is: xl3-wasm is an optional dependency resolved with a runtime import(), so whether it is there cannot be known synchronously. The probe is cached and idempotent, so the first call pays for it and later calls are free — and a conversion with the default engine: 'auto' would have paid the same cost anyway.

For the version alone, the VERSION export is synchronous and does not touch the wasm path.
